I had a pleasant experience at this fine dining restaurant in Matera. The service was attentive and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious, though not extraordinary. I particularly enjoyed the truffle pasta, even though it was a bit cold. The desserts were ambitious but didn't quite reach their full potential. Nevertheless, I would recommend this place.

A very special place, in terms of warm atmosphere in the grotto, local “zero kilometer” dishes, excellent service. If you’re looking for a special night, as a couple, family or group, this is a great place. The wine and bubbles list is a huge book. The dishes are unique, good sized portions and creative, without the exaggerated designs on the plates so you can actually enjoy the food itself. Really well done. Access close by car as well in case people don’t want to do lots of stairs.

Beautiful restaurant located in a cave dwelling. Unfortunately the staffs were not friendly and welcoming. Never saw a smile on their faces. Don’t expect much from the food, it was nothing special, and they put too much salt in the all the dishes. My tongue was numb after the meal because of the salt. But I wasn’t bothered that much, because Matera is too beautiful.
